  1. I was lucky enough to attend the Governor's Ball this past Sunday and after the travesty of the slap seen and heard around the world, I was a bit overwhelmed by how much the entire experience of the Ball has changed since I was a part of this catering company just a few years ago. The food and service (all the staff had to wear masks poor things) were better than it has been in years: I drank some amazing rose champagne, my food favorites included the spicy tuna cones, waffles with fried chicken, lobster pie, beef sliders, cornbread with crab and caviar, and the mac and cheese which has been thankfully updated. I didn't get a chance to try any of the Turkish selections. I tried one dessert which was a choc sea salt eclair topped with a gold and chocolate oscar. Upon my exit, I, of course, took home one of the famous choc Oscars. Many celebrities left even quicker than in past years, perhaps due to the Will Smith incident (that's almost all anyone talked about). I enjoyed watching Kodi Smit-Mcphee proudly carrying a beautiful rose.  Most importantly I was able to confirm from a few of the WPC butlers that almost all the mountains of left-over food were in fact donated to organizations whose mission is to feed multitudes of hungry individuals so ubiquitous in Los Angeles. This is a welcomed change from decades of having to watch the majority of this unspoiled food simply fed to the dumpsters. Nice job!

  2. The 2022 Academy Awards was a HOT 🥵 MESS long before Chris Rock & Will Smith brought their personal problems onto center stage. Everything seemed to be cut and edited for obvious reasons to save time and fit everything in before the lights were turned off on the attendees😳. While watching I felt I was a racehorse running the track in last place then Instantaneously finding myself over the finish line with a flower🌺wreath around my neck! It sincerely felt like everyone was at 78 speed. Eighty-percent of the winners weren’t even allowed to give their acceptance speeches. This was a H.u.g.e. lack of respect for the recipient winners! Worst award show I have ever wasted my time watching! I think I’ll skip next years show🙄

Everyone in Oscar Leadership in that building that night owes Chris Rock an apology for NOT stepping forward and NOT doing the right thing on Sunday ! Mr. Rock had just been assaulted, then stood up there ALONE , with no immediate assistance . No one moved quickly up there to see if he needed it . Wow! He stood up there, obviously stunned, and in a state of disbelief . He looked around for some type of guidance from perhaps those whom could offer it at the time , and received none quick enough , because Mr. Smith could be seen going back to his seat , as if NOTHING had just happened. Mr. Rock was left to continue that show in what looked like " shock mode " , in a quiet room, full of quiet people, with a loud man screaming obscene language at him, and that had just slapped him in his face, now sitting in the front starring him in the face . Add to that, bright lights glaring in his face, which probably hindered his vision of the audience most of the night . What a horrible position to be in, especially, in front of the world . Mr. Smith chose the wrong responses (violence, crime ). He slapped Mr. Rock in the face. No one should be slapped in the face. He owes Mr. Rock, and mean it, an apology. In my opinion , Mr. Rock should not have said anything about the wife….he said her name . She was not a part of the show, and she was not there as a nominee, but there to support her husband, just like the other nominees wives. Her name should have been left off that stage . I feel that Mr. Rock owes Mrs. Smith and her family an apology . He did NOT deserve to be slapped. Oscar Leadership , you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. You owe Mr. Rock a private and public apology . After all, you are the Oscars. For those whom are curious, I am not a part of either circle. As I write this, I am only voicing my opinion, which is my right.
    Prayers for everyone !

  4. The last time I was there at Kensington, my pants came down and I was attacked by a few sex fiends. Wow, DID I have BROWN OUT not to mention the drugs. And just now that horrible situation at the Awards with the lady and her chemo hair style. So sad.

  5. In an American school, when someone hits another person, they sometimes get EXPELLED.
What is the Academy, or ABC, going to do about this? …just a "slap on the hand"?

  6. If anyone thinks Will Smiths actions were just, you must agree that you encourage people who feel insulted to commit criminal acts.

  7. 8. If Hollywood doesn't do anything about the bully, there's a me-too
movement coming for the academy, they never have seen it before

  9. Man… such a shame… I thought the great actors and actresses here in Singapore will win something for their years of brillant acting.

  10. It is the PC Culture..talk talk talk ..One Slap..rang around the World! ..♥️ ..✌🏻 not hate!

  11. Richard Williams was not a comedian and your wife is a second-hand fool. your queen is your first wife and God changes his laws for no one, you are a disgrace to the black community and your wife is a bald idiot as I suffer from the same thing as many many many women do so does my daughter, she is just an ugly heart!!!!

  13. Oscar has gotten worse over the years, the academy members, whoever they are, making such bad choices, I won't waste any more time after this one. House of Gucci by far had the best actors, actress, script, best movie overall and not even nominated.

  14. First, Chris Rock did not know she had alopecia. Second, if anything, it was a complement — he said she looked like the powerful, beautiful G.I. Jane. Third, Chris Rock was doing his job. He was hired to be a comedian and make jokes about the privileged people in the audience. Fourth, even if it had been a cruel joke — violence is not the answer. Will Smith speaks for a living — he should have used his words.
