The US is playing the blame game even before the China-US talks started. The US is always putting disinformation and fake narrative in order to discredit and putting blames on China for its failure in US foreign policy and repeatedly and incessantly laying the groundwork that China is not helping in solving the Ukraine crisis. US Air Force General Kenneth Wilsbach blatantly threatened to teach China a lesson from the Ukraine situation, which could be applied to the Taiwan question. Such conceit was defied by the first direct high-level engagement between Chinese and US officials over the situation in Ukraine on which Washington had tried to misguide Beijing to serve its own interests, although failing to do so as the Chinese side stressed its consistent stance on the issue and urged the US side to correct its wrong words and deeds. Any countries that do not submits to the US and the West alliances are considered to be the adversaries of the US and the West. Any countries that abstained from voting against Russia are antagonists of the US and the West. Any countries that is not part of the bandwagon of the US and the West are considered as foes. China always stands for respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries and abiding by the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. China is committed to promoting peace talks calling on the international community to jointly support the Russia Ukraine peace talks to achieve substantive results as soon as possible and de-escalate the situation as early as possible. All parties should exercise maximum restraint to protect civilians and prevent a large-scale humanitarian crisis. China side resolutely opposes any words and deeds that spread false information or distort and discredit China’s position. China hopes for a peaceful reconciliation between Ukraine and Russia. China will mediate an agreement or reconciliation for both parties to amicably resolved their outstanding dispute. The world do not need the US threatening another countries through forced submission to the US wishes or face dreaded consequences if they do not do so.

What is this report based on, given that Beijing has flatly rejected its authenticity? Does Washington have agents in Beijing, so as to come up with such an allegation?
And where does Washington come off to dictate China's affairs? China should be able to pick who its friends are and who its enemies are, just like any other sovereign state; after all, wasn't that the supposed pretext for Washington's rejection of the pre-war diplomacy, i.e.  the idea that Ukraine was a "sovereign nation", which should be able to "decide whom to align with"?
