Russian Russians living in Ukraine are being oppressed by the new government of Ukraine, and it is forbidden to speak Russian and other things. The war in fact has been going on in Ukraine for 8 years, since 2014. In Ukraine, the Russian eastern part of Ukraine has been fighting with western Ukraine for 8 years since 2014. The new government in Ukraine wants to join the Nato alliance. Russia is against NATO and American NATO military bases near its borders. Russia is forced to protect 80% of its citizens living in Ukraine from oppression after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The Russian people are against the war and do not encourage the methods of the Russian government to restore order in Ukraine by force. The common people of Russia want the government to resolve issues in a deplomatic peaceful way.
