  1. hi Eric just had a question, yeaterday driving to work my car just died but than it just started up. I made it to work but I'm not sure what made it just die like that, because driving nothing was wrong.

  2. I really like the AMA stuff, it somehow seems like we're getting to know you (the person behind ETCG) better that way. So I'd say keep it up! In fact it made me watch the last two shows, which I didn't regularly do before.

  3. Interesting difference between over here and over there: In Germany, they all tell you to drive anything from the range of VAG range of brands (that is mainly VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, not so much Ducatti, Lamborghini or Porsche, LOL), because the spare parts are so flippin' cheap! And they tell you not to get a Japanese car, because repairs are so darn expensive on them. But then I reply: Well, if a VW-brand car needs repairs all the time, and a Japanese car never sees the shop except for the bi-yearly safety and emissions inspection, what would be cheaper? (Of course that's exaggerated, but can very well be true, because I know people that drive Toyotas from the 90s that never had any issues. Although they seem to have gotten worse later on…)

  4. Really enjoy all your videos Eric I also love Scotty Kilmer never understand the negativity toward him he is a great guy like you God Bless and stay safe and dirty.

  5. Hello Eric thanks for the live feed, I really enjoyed the 50 minutes of other peoples questions answered by you The Man, The God The Legend….yes you are a legend for the little guy who can't think for ourselves, we are from just outside of Toronto in a town called Pickering, I also want to thank you for enjoying our Canadian music, we are planning to see you for a meet and greet this summer to come and see you in Mason Ohio, thank you so much you have saved myself and the rest of your subscribers tones of money, when we come there I'll bring some Canadian Maple Syrup for you and your family to enjoy just a little thank you for what you have done…thank you thank you thank you…

  6. AMA's are great Eric. Living and breathing car repair is one pint of view but there are other aspects of what you are doing and who you are without a wrench in your hands that make your channels interesting. Keep dong what you have been doing. Answer the repair questions that you think are interesting and pick and chose between the AMA questions that you are comfortable with as they come up. You are giving a lot of us the knowledge to attempt a lot of repairs ourselves that would other wise cost much more that we can afford to hire out to folks like yourself. Your fellow mechanics earn every penny they get but the simple stuff we can do our selves is just boring oil changes to trained techs after the 234th time. Thanks again for the effort you put into this channel.

  7. I have bad piston rings, but when i drive in 3'rd gear or if im driving at slow speed, the car is kind of coughing, is that because of the rings or something else?

  8. Milwaukee really needs to send you a 1/2" drive M18 Fuel to test out. If you ever tried one, you'd know electric tools are stronger. Tried to bust a Honda crank bolt loose with my Snappy MG725 (which is a $500+ 1/2" pneumatic impact wrench. No dice. The M18 Fuel popped it right out. You really need to get one. Diesel guys swear by them.
