People don’t understand how important they are to the ecosystem
A swarm of cicadas among D.C. Seems somehow….. fitting.
how come this story sounds like something out of a Gary Larson Far Side comic?
We have cicadas every summer in the deep south, just not in those numbers. The evening is filled with the hum of their mating call.
And this natural event is exsacty where the writers of the Bible came up with the plague ideas!

Cicadas it's what's for dinner
Nope not even. I have more than enough things to eat than insects. I think they’re really creepy with their red beady little eyes. I understand god created them…I’ll just be glad when they’re gone.
Cicadas are usually biblical. So maybe GOD hates DC and people in DC. Oh shocker.

@kelly calur the african american hollywood celebrities do lighten their skin color. Several articles mentioned they use a orange peeling lightening lotion fer.la/72 from japan which easily turns their dark skin light. This is not really surprising these days it seems everybody changes their appearance, they should be honest about it though.
I would try eating them.
