Stockton fire captain dies after being shot while battling fire

1. Why would you shoot someone trying to put out a fire?

2. I think there is something going on and people have been ordered to kill as many police or firefighters they can. This is happening every day.

4. What in the actual hell is going on in our world?!?!!! Everyday I see something so senseless and tragic! Prayers to his family and all who loved him. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

15. This reminds me of when Long Beach, CA Fire Captain David Rosa was also shot and killed while fighting a fire back in 2018. I hope Captain Max Fortuna’s family, friends, and colleagues find comfort during this tragic loss. 👨‍🚒

21. Damn, I live within a few miles of Stockton. Hard to believe something like this could happen so close by, but Stockton has a reputation for a reason…
