  9. I think your argument is now shaky. You say you wanted to buy the parts that were clearly based on trademark logo. What for? You should have left it at the one you had..why antagonise.

  10. The Lemay Family Collection is a car museum in Tacoma/Spanaway WA. (not to be confused with the Lemay museum in downtown Tacoma) Check it out, I know that they have a large collection and rarely sell cars but do accept donations.

  15. You can't purchase entire cars off of salvage yards because of the title put on the such cars. As soon as a vehicle enters these yards the vin will be considered scrap and they are not allowed back on to state roads because the dmv considers them non safe no matter the repair made to the cars. That is why you may buy anything off of the cars up to the actual frame and body of the car. I've personally tried to make purchases of an entire vehicle from the yards and been told no everytime, it is extremely frustrating because there are some vehicles that are so clean they could be made road worthy easily but the title on the vin is what prevents that.

While I am no legal expert, my common sense of what lil I do know about such matters tells me or it sounds like they contacted him to see about some co-lab in an attempt to get him to commit to breaching copyright and fair use laws. When that did not happen, as its not something this channel was interested in, they then offered some amount that did not exceed or not greatly exceed the company cost of all the unique equipment on the car. Such as pizza warmer etc. When that was rejected they asked him what his end game was, likely again to get him to give answer that would breach copyright and fair use laws so they could simply sue him and get car back. As he gave reply that again did not fall into their trap plans, they simply threatened lawsuits anyway in attempt to scare him into giving up and giving it up for their estimated cost they were willing to get it back for. Anyway glad to see none of that happened and he still owns and has the car. It was really the companies fault for not stripping it adequately of its proprietary parts and labels to begin with IF they are that concerned about it.

  34. When a company has the balls to sponsor this video I'm sure the legal ramifications are over. The "pizza company" has no foothold then clearly.
