2. It seemed although it ramped up slower that the Delta strain was around for some time. Assuming just how dominant Omicron is there is a strong chance the next variants may be descendent of Omicron and it will remain more potent at slowing spread for a long time. Mind you given Omicron was not a descendent of Delta it could go in another direction but I am still confident that deeper T and B cell immunity I have with my current shots will still hold up. I would just rather not catch it then catch it and have a dramatically higher chance of getting through with less severe consequences as it stands now but I am glad I have that protection anyway.
