What is the UK release date.. ? Any idea
did he really just say "the worlds first android tv console" 😀
Game on 5:09 ?
Simon is not impressed!
Hate to burst their bubble but Minix beat them to it by almost a year with their Minix X8-H plus. Got one and it works great. Does everything they claim theirs does so…..not the first.
when is it coming out?like when can we order it?
do you have to have a 4k tv? Bc I ANIT PAYIN 1k for a 4k TV
Can it work with a keyboard and mouse ?
What about android screen sharing? If I'm playing a Google Play game that primarily uses a touchscreen interface, will the controller be able to interface effectively?

So first, there was the Ouya with Tegra 3, barely any support, terrible controller and no access to Google Play.
Then there was MadCatz MOJO with Tegra 4, good controller, and Google Play access but nothing particularly tailored to it.
And now we have the NVIDIA Shield, with X1, good controller, Google Play, a ton of support and games tailored to the system.
Android consoles just keep on getting better and better. I might actually consider getting this one if it actually catches on.
You talk too much… And instead we need to see all the features about the system, man blah blah blah blah blah blah
The same people who laughed at OnLive and MS Cloud, will slobber all over this because it says "Nvidia".
So Let me get this right, to play games in grid you need a monthly subscription and you also need to buy the game that you will have in your account. So that also means if you choose to opt out of monthly subscription at any point you won't be able to play the game you bought with your hard earned money? You either get a monthly subscription or you charge premium for the games. But get your monetization model right. It's not ok for me right now.
Os direcionais desse controle vão atrapalhar na hora de jogar Mortal Kombat X
Put your 5-6 old PC under your TV and connect it..but PS or xbox controler ..install steam ,buy some 4-5 year old gamed who now cost almost nothing and you will have better games and better looking games for almost no moneyÂÂÂÂ
So its said that this device can stream games in 1080p 60 fps? Well that's debatable. For one the whole country isn't running on fiber optic networks. So to say that we can stream games that way is subjective. Secondly what kind of settings is this thing running? You claim PC level graphics, on a 200$ console lol, I call bullshit. I guess I'm just gonna have to see more to be convinced. But honestly internet speeds will be this consoles biggest downfall. Maybe in 10 years when fiber optic is the standard this console will rule the roost.
if i buyed it can I then play minecraft on it?.
the first andriod tv console…besides the ouya, the mojo and several others
What is the game being shown at 3:45?
If nvidia can get the support of the top triple AAA games on the grid they have something special .. Think about it.. We r able to streaming tv subscription , movies etc why not gaming.. The only issue is that Internet is not that great .. But that we'll get better..I believe that is the future of gaming .. I can see already Xbox live cloud streaming and playstation plus cloud streaming services ..u think we r going to see the same format on the next consoles buy disk or downloading to a hard drive and to see if my hard drives still has space because the games required more memory ..cloud gaming resolves that issues .. Yes the Internet sucks but like I said is going to get better is just matter of when..
I've always thought these NVidia Shield devices were pretty cool, but if this is done right, it's going to be awesome! Even more so for those of us lucky enough to have Fibre optic net connections with no data caps. Even the native games are impressive.ÂÂÂÂ
I wonder how much it will be in the UK and Europe? Even if it's £200, I'll still get one!
since it can play pc games will u be able to play mmos on it?
I don't care what nobody say but I'm getting one
Cool a device that can turn my none smart Samsung g HDTV from 4 years ago and should stream my PC games from my gtx980 powered PC from the office to my living room. Perfect I'll buy in.
they made a big mistake. it's one year too early, it has 1 gig of ram to less, its not in 14/16nm finfet, it doesnt have cortex a72 and artemis (maybe a62), too less maxwell shader cores, it should have 384 or 512 pascal cores, unified virtual memory, android m, vulkan api support and, and, and. just like i said, a year too early. if it had been next year just like i listed, it would be great and i would buy it over a traditional console but not this way.
This product is very interesting! But… you have to pay for both the streaming of games as well as the access to new game titles? So you have to pay twice to play new games? Sounds less interesting, then… Also, since you stream PC games, how will they handle games which don't support controller input? Can you plug in mouse and keyboard?

will the shield work with xbox controllers such as the Razer Sabertooth?
Cannot wait for this, NVIDIA is going to rule mobile gaming before too long… If they get the GRID game stream subscription service right they might just kill off PC/Console gaming as well just might
So if I don't have a 4k TV or 4k monitor I can't play or watch in 4k right
Does this have Android TV on it?ÂÂÂÂ
