National Geographic’s ‘Trafficked’ explores world of cocaine trafficking in Colombia

31. I’m Colombian. This is fucked up, unfortunately true. The culture of easy money, mostly low quality education and few acceptable jobs enables these kinds of situations.
    And please, stop glorifying Pablo Escobar (on the comments). If you weren’t in Colombia , specially in Medellin like I was on those years, there is no way you can imagine or have an informed opinion; it was terrible.
    I’m fortunate enough to be an engineer with an ok job and this are indeed getting much better overall, but issues like the ones exposed here can’t be dismissed.
