Thank God it happened in Greenwich CT. The richest people in the country live there so they’ll get top notch mental health care.
why you show this interview of this girl smiling
A very sad, tragic accident. Prayers and thoughts are with everyone.
condolences to family and friends. RIP

REALLY tragic. The most incredible thing is that this poor kid is the FIRST EVER recorded death from skate cuts. There were previous accidents, but everyone managed to survive. THAT is the most incredible part of a sport with people slamming into each other and falling one over another with chef-level sharpened blades on their feet. That he is the first casualty.
Isn't there some kind of neck guard that could be put on every player?
Anyways. I just hope the parents and family can stay strong and get through this. And that they get all the support they need.
This is one of those unimaginable ice hockey injuries that everyone thinks about, but usually never happens. To think it happen to such a young man with his whole life ahead of him, doing what I'm sure he loved to do, that just brings this to another level. I cannot begin to fathom what that family must be going through, but I do know that they need prayers.
RIP Teddy………….May our precious Holy Spirit comfort your family at such a devastating and heart breaking time.
Jean from Scotland.
I feel sorry for all who knew him, and for the young man who accidentally struck him. So sad

Horrible way to go
Oh no…. As a Mom, I am so heartbroken for all involved.. God Bless you all..
God bless his soul and everyone that knows him and everyone involved
Here we go. Lets ban hockey now. Or demand they use tennis shoes instead of skates.
Maybe ice hockey should be banned in this kids Honor. For both.
What operation…. the kid was doa
Sad situation all around, and I sure hope that young man who collided with him gets the help that he needs. Something like this can very easily and quickly develop into PTSD or other mental health disorders.
So tragic and heartbreaking for everybody involved.
😱
Imagine the guilt that the other player is going to feel for the rest of his life. My heart goes out to both of them and to all that knew them. May he Rest In Peace. 🕊🕊ðŸ•ÅÂ
This is so heartbreaking and sad my condolences to his family
R.I.P. Poor Guy.
So sad…
Life has ultimate generation
Who cares
Shouldn't play dangerous sports. Ppl are dying of covid.
Hopefully like when Don Sanderson's son died it doesn't result in the AHL and NHL changing the game based on one freak incident.
I remember the goalie for buffalo sabers in the early 80s got a skate to his jugular. Horrific. Team doctors pinched his jugular and kept him alive while they rushed him to the ER. He survived.
So so sad very sorry to hear this 😢
