  1. It's awful that she was sent to jail. I know the danger of abusive partners and y women stay. It's because of the failing system. My aunt knew that her partner could manipulate the system and when she went to her father who lived the next street away some of her siblings who lived in the house had partners who wanted the father's house so they threw her out. In the end her father gave her money but her husband sweet talked her into staying and then tried to take custody of her kid. He took all her money and put it in his account. She knew her disabled kid would b murdered so she stayed. He would physically abuse her kid too and she could do nothing about it. The whole community was supportive of him coz he gave her money to many causes. But the neighbors knew and so did her family. Sometimes it's not easy to leave. Especially when there is no support from family, the community and authorities. She knew he would hunt her down and kill her kid if she left.

  2. God that phone call with her mom made my heart ache for her so much more. How could they even charge her when she has so much evidence against him to prove his abuse. It's disgusting that she is sitting in prison for protecting her and her children. God bless the heart of the lawyer, amazing to know that there is someone out there standing right beside her and doing the right thing. I truly hope she is able to come home as soon as possible so that she can be with her family..especially her children

  3. Where do I sign? We need to petition for her to be released from prison. She did what she had to do to for her and her kids to survive

  4. So abusers get off easy and when we finally kill our abusers we go to prison. If the law would do something BEFORE death happens, things would change.

  5. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  6. Sorry, but anguish and despair don't justify premeditated murder. Furthermore, this video is highly subjective and ignores much of the known facts surrounding the circumstances.

  7. If he murdered her, the kids and himself and the abuse came out – she would also be blamed for doing NOTHING.
Society really needs to get a grip.

  8. Is there a petition?? This is horrible! Return her to her children!!!! I'm a DV survivor and this is not fair at all..

  9. They will try to stop you if you try to leave or the sense you are on your way out. You will not be allowed to leave on your own free will without punishment.

  10. People are not getting taught the MOST IMPORTANT things to know in life. No one should enter adulthood without a good understanding in these important life skills:
    3. How to manage money
    2. How to invest money
    1. How to choose a good life partner
Granted, choosing a good life partner takes more than identifying red flags. It takes time and patience. Yes people can become more abusive with time, but they are rare, especially ones that are suddenly dramatically more abusive than they were in the past. Most abusers can be identified in a matter of weeks. People need to learn to build trust and then love, slowly. Only after years of a partner proving they are stable and supportive, should someone consider having kids with them, and that goes for women AND men.

  11. I’m a mother and survivor of DV. Please, make her free. Dismiss this. I know Kim kardashian has been helping so much with these cases; please help her. That’s my holiday wish.
