If it can’t be recycled it should be made in the first place! Consumers need to reject plastic at the supermarkets or GOV’s should tax them to deal with it post consumer!
This is nothing more than a backdoor tax on consumers. The companies will pass the “fee†along to the consumer, making the effect no different than a direct tax on the people. Consumers and citizens are stupid if they think it’s anything else.
The US have almost ZERO recycling mandates, which goes to show how absolutely stupid of a country we can be with our future planning
America needs to wake up
Exactly! Extended Producer Responsibility. Now let’s apply that to agriculture, energy & foreign made goods etc.
Yes!!!
nice
46 comment no new laws allowed not from my lips God6 ALL elected ppl r voided out, If I did not pick u to serve & GOD7 & Christ76 did not anoint u you can not serve or speak a word nor any laws.
This is long overdue
Which six states?
My guess: NY, CA, TX, FL, MO, AK
I believe they should charge 20% across the board for products like these. We all need to recycle more and use more recyclable products
Here's 1 for ya.
Stop using so much dam plastic in everything you can possibly get it on.
My local trash company doesn't even take most of the items labeled as "recyclable"! 75% of recyclable materials go into the trash bin where I live.
You trained people to recycle. Now train them to do it right.
Years ago, the price of soda was raised to stop people from drinking to much (soda tax) I had questioned why bottled water was the same price. This new tax won't work. You have to teach people to go that extra step in recycling.
We burn the plastic when u recycle
Do you know you can keep melting plastic down to get gasoline?
That's funny, I live in Maine and the only thing they have done was stop giving you plastic bags at the stores. Now instead of giving you a plastic bag, they sell you a thicker plastic bag and nothing to recycle and other type of plastic. Might want to research your story a little better instead of making up your own like the fake news always does
Coca Cola is the number 1 polluter around the world is backing up this law???? How ironic.
Uh-oh, that guy said "shared cost," that means "socialism"!!!!
The corporations are responsible for the garbage.
If people want more recycling, you're going to have to include 1 or 2 more washing machines just to repurpose plastic and cardboard waste. People don't like the time and energy washing those requires, and with cardboard you have to turn it into a pulpy mess just for it to be recycled right. Sorry.
Here are a few easy things for them to do:
sell ferrous and non-ferrous metals,
bury cardboard recapture the methane gas to use in municipal vehicles.
Clean and melt down glass and metal to make solar panels
Use diced glass, shredded tires, and plastic flakes in asphalt preparation for road repair.
Allow the state prions and municipal jails to do the sorting of all of the garbage.
And it does target the protein I believe, weakening the walls and preventing new layers from forming. At lightspeed for this type of ailment. A compound was synthesized for the calcification to help with their pain. I don't recall it's makeup, a flushing treatment of some kind slowed it I think. That may have been the filter collecting the particals causing the rapid calcification before it forms. It needs to be swapped on reg an aparatus will help expedite so u can get thru more
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story and for your hard work ðŸ™ÂÂðŸ‘ÂÂ
Agreed ! This should be done across the nation for manufactures taking the responsibility of their packaging to be 100% recycled not just stating recyclable. Yes it may increase the cost, although not as much cost as not too recycle in the end. Please think long term.
Let’s go Brandon..xx.,!

Want to really put a dent in landfills? Stop allowing disposable diapers!
The problem is the manufacturer will not really pay their share, it will only be pushed off to the consumers. So, we will be paying the extra cost, which will not “teachâ€ÂÂthe manufacture anything because it will cost them nothing.
Companies need to stop making so much plastic and garbage packaging. I could fill a bin a week just from the ads I get in my mailbox, no way average Americans can keep up with the garbage companies make. Time for companies to step up and stop putting the blame and guilt on us.
They are lazy separate the trash! In Japan if your garbage is not recycle they will not get your trash and teport you.
It's been less than a week since our president fell asleep on live television and messed his pants in public 😳
Wow I had that idea 10 years ago and time to fight dow chemical.Make plastic consortium responsible. Why do bottle return companies have to sue to get their plastic recycled water bottles picked up..errrr
Self interest is for the past; common interest is for the future. D.Attenborough
US: The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make US manufacturing non-competitive. D.Trump
Native: Your kids can name more KPop groups than types of trees. S.Sherman
COP26 is blah blah blah while the US and Manchin back their oil company self interest dividends over climate change.
That would make a great book
Yes please. Make.Makers.Responsible. Fast Fashion is second in line.
all drinks should be in steel cans not aluminum not plastic
It really is wrong to dump all that plastic and other waste in the ocean where it hurts the entire planet and other species. To have giant circular gyres of it the Atlantic and Pacific is crazy. And the guy was wrong. EVERYTHING is recyclable BUT for some specific materials it's more expensive. If manufacturers CHOOSE to use those kinds of packaging materials they SHOULD pay extra to do so. Except for luxury items I guarantee they will switch to materials that are sustainable because consumers won't buy the products at the higher cost. They will go with a less expensive competitor. Supply and demand…
First!!!!
