Not guilty on all counts, including the gun possession charge since as we learned today there is an exception for 17-year olds if they possess a shotgun or rifle with a barrel length of at least 16 inches or an overall length of 26 inches, which of course an AR-15 does. Kyle didn’t possess a sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, or handgun on the night he was attacked, therefore he wasn’t breaking the law. Glad that the judge sided with the defense on that jury instruction today.
