2. I feel like justice was served for two. I will say that they threw the man who recorded it under the bus. They saw a rebel flag on the other two truck. They thought the poor man who recorded it was racist and really wanted to try him cause he was white. Nobody would record a crime they were guilty of and turn it over to the cops. I wouldn't of gave the cops anything to them. I would of said I would want immunity. I would not be sitting in jail on murder the man never shot anyone he never partake in the crime he helped the police. 46. I have not doubt that the defendants in this case are guilty though Bryant has a chance of getting off on the murder charge. He admitted to committing a felony aggravated assault more than once by trying to "block" Aubrey with his truck which is a deadly weapon and that could also be considered false imprisonment. The comments by his lawyer are on their face objectionable but I think he is grasping at straws to build grounds for appeal. Contrary to popular belief an appeal isn't just "I didn't like the outcome so I would like a do over." but requires the defense to show that the judge made a legal error which should result in a curative action by the court. That may be that the judge allowed protests or other issues to influence the jury and that is where Bryant's lawyer is going with this. The other lawyers signed on which is wise because they have few other hopes in this case. I really like how the judge has handled this case thus far which is not something I have said often.
