She’s not sure where they came from, but dayum.
As a 36 year old black male, I’ll be so damn happy when race is no longer an issue in America.
SO WHAT DID SHE ACTUALLY SAY THO
As a transracial adopted adult this woman does not reflect what all adoptees feel and for some reason makes us sound like victims. Honestly listening to this indignant woman talk really angers me. She seems very ungrateful to be adopted and resentful of her adopted parents.
The way I feel about it is… yes parents who transracial adopt need to Especially include in family gatherings ..communication and every day life ..children and adults of the race of the kids they adopt ..And if they are not successful in accomplishing this ..there is a strong possibility that the child will not be able to learn about their own race ..If a family feels in their hearts they can do this.. I mean really in their hearts ♥ï¸ÂÂ..they can be successful in embracing kids and people who look like themðŸ¤â€ÂðŸ¤â€Âthere’s no reason why families can’t adopt transracially..We are black parents with one birth child and one adopted child who was adopted at (3 days old ) who is black..And they are adults now with their own families ..
I'm gonna vomit
White people can not and will not raise black kids to be black kings I repeat 🤷ðŸÂ¾â€ÂÂ♂ï¸ÂÂ
how about she use her money and influence to combat systemic racism and go against her own racist counterparts how about she use her money and influence to combat systemic racism and go against her own racist counterparts that’s never a discussion and it’s sad of black people
People with the slave mentality are always trying to create a reality that most black people want to get away from. Every African person I know who has come here from Africa and this includes my BFF do not have the same negative experience because they don't expect it. The assumption that everybody doesn't like you because you're black is prevalent among those raised in the south and their descendants. Yes racism exists but ignorance will always exist. Raising children who think of themselves as equal will produce people who anticipate being treated equal and expect it. My guess is that Sandra Bullock's children will never have low self-esteem, and it has nothing to do with their color
Wow… imagine STILL capping on white folks for opening their homes and their hearts to colored kids. Stop sending the message that everyone’s the same regardless of skin color if you’re gonna release this garbage.
There are many adopted brown/black kids who would say the opposite of what this woman says. I really hope people don’t see this and think this is how it is for all kids who are adopted into another race. All experiences are anecdotal.
Adopted my first son at 2 weeks and the 2nd at age 11. I will not exchange them for anything , today they are 23 and 24 and still address social discrimination but one thing we aim to do is to be the difference we want to see in the world. We went through tough times and good times but we are still an family and don't let other determine who we are or going to be. Happy cross racial adoption mom from South Africa
Anytime you got to make somebody feel comfortable who they are when they have historically been the oppressing class to those that are African-American pure Native American and other ethnic groups. I say you should never adopt if you feel that way if you want to adopt someone of color you should treat them with respect and embrace their culture and never make fun of it or take it likely. Or make someone feel ashamed they didn't ask to be born. Didn't ask to be given up to be put in a foster care or adoption system. I think love is a wonderful unique thing that can heal all but love is unique. If you cannot be allowed to love the skin you're in without it offending someone else you should never be someone's adoptive or Foster mother ever. Respect people and their culture always. 😇👌ðŸÂ¼🧑ðŸÂ¼â€ÂÂ🎄â„ï¸ÂÂ🎅ðŸÂ¼😉🥰⛄😎🥃💫âœâ€Âï¸ÂÂ
Aren't blâk children just as hûman as whýte children? A couple had sex and two children were the result. Why is rayce always an issue with msm?
I wonder if it's the same for the white children who are adopted into a black household?
So ridiculous.
Sounds like an undercurrent is don't adopt transracial children.
Don't really fully grasp what author is saying.
BIG DEAL. She only used these two black kids to gain more attention to feed her egocentric again. That's how these celebrities are.
Better to adopt a child no matter the race rather than letting them grow without a person or family that can provide a home, education, food, healthcare, love and affection…. How about we embrace our virtues whatever we are. I’m an immigrant and in many countries if you have food and safety that’s all it matters. These are first world problems (sarcasm) meaning that they don’t need to exist….
Black children: the newest fashion accessory.
Did she open up about her life with those black children after she got a White husband? I’m just asking…
Hello everyone â˜ÂÂ︠is trustworthy and ethical thanks to them I made $10,000 so far
Its detrimental to the kids.
Why everything has to be about color 🤦â€ÂÂ♀ï¸ÂÂwhen is it going to stop
Watch the Colin Kaepernick story on Netflix, they meant well but often perpetuated many microagressions toward Colin.
I'm rich… feel sorry for my black sons… boohoo.
