The White House cited China’s human rights records as a reason for why the U.S. will not send an official delegation to the Winter Olympic Games in China early next year.

  1. With all the investments Beijing is doing in Xiangjing province (railroads, tunnels, roads, housing, etc) to better that province's economy, it's a hard swallow to call it a genocide, unless it's meant for Chinese Han expansion into the province. So far, there are only Han tourists visiting the area. But if the purpose is indeed genocide then China, which has a more diverse population than the US and w/ 100 different language groups, will have repercussions in other parts of the country. Beijing is stating that it is merely disciplining this province which wants to break away and form its own country, from the rest of China, but after more than 100 bombing incidences, Beijing's patience had come to an end. Also, how could Beijing be accused of cultural annihilation when it has given freedoms to 100 other languages in the country? Beijing says the Xianjing people are fiercely resistant to learning Mandarin, the national language, and are thus are always giving difficulties to Beijing. Lastly, I believe this US diplomatic boycott on the Xianjing issue is only ammunition for a future row w/ China.

  2. I place a bet of $5 and a bag of twizzlers china waits for the olympics to end to invade Taiwan, same bet with Russia and Ukraine

  3. Once you set your mind into not purchasing anything from China, two things happen. You get to see products from other countries and those products are a better quality. I keep a record of everything I buy. My major purchases this year we’re an electric Toro lawnmower from Mexico, I only buy clothing now from America, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, or India. The car parts I bought were made in Mexico. The lawn care products I bought we’re from the EU. Any food products I buy, never come from China, under any circumstances. I purchase food products from Korea, Japan, and Thailand. I buy Canadian wines, as well as Australian, African, French, Spanish, and Chilean. I will only buy seafood products that are frozen from Thailand, Chile, Argentina, and Peru. Of course I’m a big fan of grass fed beef from Alberta, wild caught salmon from the Waters of British Columbia as well as crab and clams. Are you getting to see the picture yet? There is nothing in my shopping list that has China written on it. I check every label and every product I buy to ensure that does not happen. The other day I went to buy some instant noodles that had a picture of a Korean flag on the front of it and Korean lettering. Naturally, I made the assumption it was a Korean product. I didn’t pay much attention to the products in my shopping bag until I started thinking about it. Something did not feel right about the instant noodles so I looked very carefully at the packaging. Low and behold The packaging led me to believe it was Korean when it was really Chinese. I instantly took it back and threw it back on the shelf, searched the other noodles and found both Korean and Japanese noodles which I purchased. It’s so easy not to buy products from China. You just have to check everything that you buy because they make every attempt to pass it off as a product produced in another country. And again, the most amazing thing is the fact that within just a few minutes you realize that what you bought that was not made in China is a far better quality. The Nike shoes that I wear lasted forever when they were made in Vietnam. The same shoe, made in China, starts squeaking just days after purchasing them because the glue they used inside was substandard and broke away from the main body of the shoe. I had purchased six pairs because I can’t my size or this quality of shoe in China. The sports shop had to go through their inventory to find me six new pairs of Nike runners that were made in Vietnam.

  4. America, Canada, Australia should on this basis be forever banned from hosting any Olympics event ever again!! Proven genocide of indigenous peoples within their own countries, and genocide of millions around the world. China? Err, guilty, based on a couple of articles and reports, all unproven. Please do not make yourselves the laughing stock of the world in your desperation to 'contain China' for heaven's sake.

  5. Chinese government is a liar
Tibet, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,
Hong Kong … How many people's lives are being mad by the Chinese government and suffering from crying? The Chinese people can't pretend to be blind anymore, right?
Communist Party top sexually forced tennis players, house arrest and deliver forged videos with IOC
China is the most barbarian in the world to crack down on human rights and speech.
Hundreds of young Chinese youths who advocated democracy in their own people were killed by tanks of the People's Army.
And the Tiananmen Square incident, which was tortured and executed by the police, the Communist Party went crazy.
The countries that support the Beijing Olympics are dogs kept in China rather than human rights.
Not eligible to hold a celebration of peace

[Chinese plainclothes police that arrest and monitor human rights activists. This is the true identity of the government]

  6. Humans rights abuses 😂🤡 while more cases of human rights abuses in U.S 😂😂

  7. The olympics have become far too political, the IOC is in amerika's pocket, and the 'west' is using athletic competitions to bludgeon it's geo-political opponents.

It's time, and PAST time that China, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, and all other like-minded nations to devise their OWN …. ahem … 'Olympics'— WITHOUT the blatant favoritism imposed by 'western'-controlled sport regulatory bodies.

One way to do this is to offer HUGE cash prizes to these alternative games — far more than the tin-plated 'olympic medals' and the $10,000 cash prizes offered to current gold medalists.

Hold these alternative games during the SAME time period that these western-controlled olympics are being held, hold the individual events during the EXACT time slots that the western-controlled 'olympic events' are being held to preclude athletes from competing in both.

Watch how fast 'olympic athletes' abandon western-controlled 'olympics' when they are offered million-dollar cash prizes and REAL gold medals.

Sure, participating countries would have to pony up the cash prizes for the first few 'alternative olympics' —- but as athletes abandon western-controlled 'olympics', so to will follow advertising dollars — which can then be used to fund said cash prizes.

See if dirt-poor Nigerian track phenomenons choose to win the before-mentioned tin-plated 'gold' medals and $10k in prize monies —– or will they choose to compete for MILLION DOLLAR cash prizes and REAL gold medals.

I think the answer to that is self-evident.

Watch how fast the IOC collapses without those advertising dollars.

It's an investment that will pay for itself in no time at all.

When those alternative 'games' prove their viability, all sort of sport competitions can then be sheered away from 'western' blatant favoritism —- Soccer, boxing, ect ect.

  8. How about minding your own damn business? But that's the USA for ya. Why didn't the world protest the Olympics when they were in America while the country was busy committing human rights violations????

  9. BOY ·COTT
withdraw from commercial or social relations with (a country, organization, or person) as a punishment or protest.

Yet, athletes will still be traveling to compete.
    What part am I missing?

  10. Americans that love hating on China are also the ones buying their products 😂. Hypocrisy is a serious illness in the worlds 'greatest' country.

  11. How about now boycotting the United States for their civil rights violations and genocide against the African-American population and the Latino population. The USA has one of the MOST abusive police force in the world. How in the world can anyone justify a police patrol stopping a driver for a traffic violation and the driver ending up dead in the morgue? Btw, the driver is usually an African-American or Latino person… Was slavery not enough? I'm sorry but hypocrisy can only go so far. How about asking the United States why they still have oldest Colony in the world. Why is Puerto Rico still a colony? Boycotting? 🤔
