They grab the gun by "mistake," because, subconsciously, the gun is what they WANT to grab.

But does the consequence of incompliance justify death? Remember the moments you didn't comply to some "authority" in life, just saying, no need to come at me, God alone is the only True Judge. And if Kim Potter is allowed to freak out to the level to draw a gun instead of a taser, and she's had training. Imagine how that situation is like for the civilian who has no training at all. She can be human and it is okay for her to be free but when Daunte is human he deserves to die.
