  1. We definitely need more rigorous screening of mental health of aviation employees at all levels. And it needs to be done regularly even after you pass the first one (because you can clear the initial screening and snap later on).

  2. I would have to ask what are we going to learn from this. They guys own words were: "Just a broken guy with a couple of screws loose…I guess" and he went on to say he didn't know it until he did this basically…so thinking about that he would have passed any mental background or exam, So unless it happens again, my question would be, what are we really going to be learning from this?
