Police identify mystery woman caught on camera ringing doorbell

39. One of the reports said a resident went outside to check, after hearing his bell ring 20-30 times. What a fool. If someone's ringing your bell in the middle of the night, you DON'T go outside to investigate! Sure, in THIS case, the woman was apparently harmless (apparently), but there's always a chance they have a gun or knife and want to barge in. And then his wife says the woman disappeared into thin air. Gasp! You mean it's not possible to walk out of sight by the time the groggy homeowner gets to his door, opens it and pops his stupid head out?
