  1. she was born the year the Titanic sunk, was only a toddler, 2, when World World I began, the spanish flu epidemic, the great depression, World War II, and lived long enough to see this next major global pandemic, Covid-19, what an amazing long full life she lived. She lived a little bit longer than Kirk Douglas and Olivia De Havilland did.

  2. Who is this McCain? He was a former prisoner of war. This McCain's only heroic act was getting captured by the VietCongs. It doesn't sound like a big heroic deed to me. Anyone can be taken prisoner when surrendering. You don't have to be brave. It's enough to raise your hands and fill your pants in the meantime.

  3. I would be surprised if she makes it through the year. She’s 106 going on 107, she’s had to bury a child, she’ suffered a stroke not to long ago, and she’s just been through so much. And hey, we’ve all gotta go sometime.
