32. Maybe this is obvious to me, but not to others. As a survivor of a sexual assualt at the age of 19, that sort of traumatic event makes it an indelible imprint inside your mind.
    There may be small details that you forget over time, such as which color of shirt he was wearing, or if he wore flip flops or tennis shoes.
    But you damn sure don't forget who did it, especially if you knew the person prior to that night. You don't forget which house you were in, which room the assault took place, or the friends who saw him around you before it happened.
    May the daughters and granddaughters of the Republicans supporting Kavanaugh be spared from having the same thing happen to them. Statistically, 1 in 4 of them will survive sexual assualt. I hope the families are more supportive when it affects them directly.
