“Nightline” visited a remote island where Bangladesh wants to house the masses escaping genocide in Myanmar — but many Rohingya, now living in camps, don’t want to relocate again.

We have bigger brains than America and Europe.
How stupid and ignorant west media is towards a third world country. This island was named after A charismatic Bangladeshi politician MAULANA ABDUL HAMID KHAN BHASANI and you people are interpreting it verbatim as floating island. And it's a prison island? I’ve seen fare share of refuge there having access to phone and Internet and other basics right like food shelter education treatment and they're going there willingly for the facilities how come that become a prison? in the other hand your western world literary put refuge in prison and kill some off in sea and none of your media cares. but when comes to a third world poor country doing so much for refugees now you’ve all those agenda to make them look bad ?sheer hypocrisy, shame on westerners.
I think it is a Good initiative taken by Bangladesh that this country has made a world largest safe and luxurious refugee camp. Now they will live a better life.
Some international organisations are failed to help starting repatriation Rohingya Refugees into their country Myanmar. But Bangladesh is making a smart and safe home for them by its own cost. In Bhashanchar they will be self reliant.
Thanks
Aid agencies must promote and give out birth control too. It's inhumane to make more babies in those dire conditions. But political correctness prevails and children suffer. Stepanopoulos is a DNC hack wannabe journalist for fake news ABC.
The muslim communities need to choose between their skewered idea of (not-so-humanitarian) jihad and being coextential humans. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. There are three types of jihadis: a) those who attack non muslims b) those who protect and feed these attackers and c) those who get onto social media to condemn any social reactions against the first two.
Ya Allah we need you
these guys are complete idiots.. and clowns… once they are talking about myanmar atrocities.. next they are moving away from myanmar and blaming bangladesh for sheltering. These journalists are simply NGO puppets helping them to continue their business.. , salaries, benefits, bonus from donations by westrnern tax payers.
Shame on bengaldesh, poor rohingiya
A Cyclone is Approaching. Be aware
dont have land to live but they have more than 5 childrena per person .😡😡😡
The rohingyas plight is due to the authoritarian vile genocidal Myanmar government who to this day have shown no remorse for the atrocities they commited against the rohingya, throwing innocent babies into fires. Myanmar should be sanctioned/ boycotted on all fronts until they learn to respect human life, the vile cretins.
God bless the Rohingya, may they find peace and tranquillity soon.
Myanmar is a filthy backwards terrorist country run by savage illiterate army officials. They should be sanctioned on all fronts for genocide. Ang Sang whatever her name is, their leader, is a disgrace..At least Bangladesh is trying to help the oppressed 1rohingya (people of Myanmar), they've spent $250 million trying to develop Bhashan char island despite being a poor country themselves.
The Us army should fight the buddist and mynamar people and protect rohingya people to resettle back to rheri lands or more mass migration will take place and illegal rohingya people will show up on American soil by make shift boats to become american citizens illegally
Thank you so much abc channel for the news from Bangladesh ðŸ‘ÂÂ
This is sad.
Good job Myanmar
You guys need to understand that Bangladesh is a small, over populated and not a rich country. Our government is trying to do their best, it would be much better if the international community does the same.
The govt. of Myanmar is bloody stupid. When Bangladesh will give arms to those guys for fighting against Myanmar, then Myanmar will get a lesson.
This world is coming to an end, today might be them suffering tomorrow might be me or you suffering ,we all connected some how
I have never heard that place.
