NYPD officer fights off attackers

7. i mean we all are saying wow what a good cop he didnt take gun out, but if they bum rushed him , that baton is doing nothing, they sit on him and take his gun then kill him with it. Then its " well when you sign up for a policeman you have to think you will get hurt " .. hes lucky if they wanted to hurt him they could of. They were probably extremely high on drugs

13. it’s great and all that the Officer showed restraint, but more emphasis should be made on not attacking police officers. All 5 of those men should be punished for both harassing a woman and trying to assault a PO

You are to be commended for keeping your cool and using alternate self protection methods to defend yourself and scathe off the attackers, rather than cowardly and heartlessly going for your gun as a first and final result. All lives matter; blue or otherwise. You successfully utilized ALL of your police trained defense skills first and foremost! Then, if lethal action is necessarily called for, then that’s what it has to be. Then you can truthfully and honestly declare… “I feared for my life”. Good job officer! Peace be unto you sir.👍🏾👌🏽✌🏾
