Hollywood erupts after Academy moves 4 awards from live broadcast

2. Roseanne Barr should have been host. She knows how to deliver 25 million viewers, same as Academy Awards without the hype and expenses. She delivered 25 percent of Super Bowl viewers. ABC could have sold Roseanne show, with Roseanne, for about $1.5 million per 30 second spot or 1/4 of a Super Bowl spot. That would have equaled, if 15 :30 spots ran for 30 minute show, $22.5 million in revenue per show. Too bad ABC let they highest rated star go. At 20 episode season, they could have brought in about $450!million dollars in as revenue from Roseanne Barr.

3. Who gives a shit about ratings? Just abandon the whole ratings system and leave networks in the dark with absolutely no idea who is watching or how many are watching. Numbers ALWAYS lie.
