    Also the MCAAS system was being redesigned to fix the problem but was delayed by the shutdown for 5-6 weeks.

16. On the issue of hardware/software avionics. Many engineers and engineering managers had to sign off on the implementation of that new system. There will probably be if it has not already a project review of the people and systems. Missing the current issues is more than a big deal it could have major repercussions if something was inadvertently overlooked.
