The horse, Medina Spirit, could be disqualified and lose the title if further testing confirms the results.

  1. A horse doesn’t care how much you know until he knows how much you care. Put your hand on your horse and your heart in your hand. ❤

  2. I think Medina Spirit and Bob Baffert will prevail. The accusation is horse….s. pardon the pun. Horse won on his ability, but I guess was not supposed to. Go Medina!!

  3. If they knew enough about him having inflamation to drug him, why were they so damn stupid enough to run him?. Suspending is not good enough, they need the animals removed from their care and maybe sit some jail time. That is animal cruelty.

  4. Yes, now when rich conservative douches are caught cheating, it's cancel culture. Not accountability for breaking the rules. Gotta love buzz words and the bottom feeding tards they fuel.

  5. the derby takes two minutes…bourbon takes 4 years…what does Kentucky do the rest of the time?…other than collecting welfare, humping their cousins and doing meth and heroine?

  6. Horses cannot self medicate and most cheaters have been routinely violating the rules for a long time. I heard the horse had double the maximum 'medical' dosage allowed for a drug. Maybe the trainer had gotten away with illegal medication for a long time and decided let's do it again, since they may not test or if they test, they will only test the winners. Is there video on the horse within the 48 hours prior to the race? We might have evidence as to who actually applied the dosage, but I doubt it since whether or not the tape exists, the application would probably have been hidden from the cameras intentionally.

  7. The horse won fairly if they felt any wrong doing in the Race they should of tested every horse an jockey before the Race began keeping it Reel they got bullshit corner in the shitstoll

  8. It's an analgesic and reduces swelling. Has nothing to do with performance enhancement.
And it is legal in Kentucky. Plus the amount was only 20 TRILLIONTHS of a gram.
    Much ado over nothing.

  9. Baffert has helped ruin the sport. Dudes been juicing his horses forever. His triple crown from several years ago was juiced too.

  10. Sorry liberals, you are not taking my “Assault Rifles” or my 2nd Amendment!

  11. I love how all these comments are condemning Baffert without having any clue as to what level of contamination we're talking about. It was 21 picograms. For those that don't know what a picogram is, it's 21 trillionths of a gram. At that level, the horse could have gotten contaminated simply by someone touching it with a contaminated hand. And as for people calling for banning racing, well those people are idiots that don't understand the industry or what it's done for horses as a whole, nor do they understand human nature and the devastating effects that banning horse racing would have, or the snowball effect that such an act would have on other horse sports, there would be very damaging repercussions for horses as a whole.

  13. C'mon folks's, you act like this is Baffert's first time caught cheating, try the 5'th time this year, and the 30'th lifetime. That's right, thirty.
