Working theory: a Covid stalled cargo ship's anchor dragged and snapped the pipe…has nothing to do with age of the pipes or age of the oil platforms. That is: if the CA gov had not placed us in Covid Lockdown and container ships were allowed to unload, the huge number of ships would not have been in this area and one ship's anchor would not have dragged and snapped this oil pipeline.
