This is the story of a family that had to contend with a world
that often misunderstood the line between reality and theater.
Roddy’s children will ruminate on conflicts they faced in school and in public from people who thought their father was a bona fide bad guy.

  1. God bless your beautiful family, Roddy. Thank you for making my childhood awesome. I was a fan of you and the Hulkster but you won my heart because you loved your fans and I love and miss you Roddy.💖💖

  2. There are certain people in wrestling that as a kid, it didn't matter if they were good guys or bad. Piper was one of those.

  3. I would imagine his kids being older for some reason. They all see like they’re in their 20s still. I would assume his kids were born in the 80s when he was at the height of his fame. They all seem 10 years younger than me and I was born in the early 80s.

  4. I so enjoyed this! Believe it or not, I met him fleetingly one Sunday night back in Buffalo in the late eighties. I worked at a restaurant on Niagara Falls Boulevard and late, like ten thirty or so, someone said he was at our take out window. There was a wrestling event in Niagara Falls that evening and there he was, by himself, dressed in a flannel shirt and black leather jacket, and just wanted a quick beer. We couldn't sell it to go, so he politely laughed and left. He was heading to Toronto. I couldn't even begin to describe how incredibly cool and KIND he was to all of us workers, including a few customers who were still there signing autographs and answering questions. I'll never forget how gracious he was, and that alone made me really admire him as a person.

  5. Roddy piper is just as important to wrestling as hulk hogan and he was a good human being. He is missed. 🙏🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢😢

  6. I hope he came home on Christmas and I said “ I am here to deliver Christmas gifts and chew bubble gum and I am out of bubble gum”

  7. I love when he went to WCW at Halloween Havoc in October 1996 because he was actually a face, a face! Roddy Piper the all time heel of the WWE went to another wrestling company as a good guy to face heel NWO Hulk Hogan leading to their match at Starcade in December. One of the best matches during the NWO era.
