OMG I'm wanting to move to Oklahoma to be with my girlfriend and I might be moving to that mess. God help us.
I wouldn't do that job ever dealing with those people fuck that.
That probably wouldn't be that bad and maybe that would deter these kids from committing crime in the first place

America the only country that sends you to war before you can even buy a beer.
They cannot fill those positions because they will not hire you if you have anything on your record.
Not to mention that they just want a crop of brainwashed youth to control.
Please do not get me started on the ruling class!
Maybe if they payed us cos better they wouldn't have such a shortage. Texas minimum age is allready 18.
WV DOC and Regional Jails have always hired recruits right out of high school. They got a program now if you sign on to start soon as you graduate they will pay half for you to get a criminal justice degree

They do allow “kids†to join the military at 18..
Its not just in Oklahom that there doing this, there also doing it in Texs. You even have kids working Death Row. I'm not joking.

I was a prison guard for 1 year and a half. I was 20. It’s a lot of stress. But as long as you respect the offenders they respect you. The prison will run its self. Most of my problems wasn’t from the offenders it was from co workers.
Look at the age of Nazi deathcamp guards.

Its a bad idea. But if they DO do it. It should be in minimum security detention/prisons. Like people serving short sentences/non violent offenders. Its still a bad idea, but better then a state/federal prison. Also, i think its a better idea to hire ex-convicts, just not murderers, and other maximum-security crimes. Like drugs, assault, etc.
Virginia has the same policy, under 21 requires a special signature from the warden
Crazy, they want to hire 18 year olds yet technically they aren’t old enough to even do something as simple as remove “Prison Punch†out of Inmates cells searches, are they?! Then wouldn’t it be considered ‘Minor in Possession of Alcohol’?
