It's a waste of money and military men and women's time.We have our own issues here and have dire need for the money and bodies. Gangs,drugs,homelessness,hunger,sickness,natural disasters,education need,medical aid needs,infrastructure,climate change,all of which take money.What should be done is to focus more on what we need here.The Afganistans yes,helped fight a war with us,that really had nothing to do with us, but are more interested in hiding under our wings instead of reinforcing their defense.It's not selfish if they won't help themselves and cost us more money and time,comon,20 years of nothing changing is more than enough.
