7. It seems everyone in this comment section thinks vaccines protect people 100%. The virus is mutating into strong variants that our vaccines are weak to. People who are vaccinated can still get Covid, still get sick, and can still be hospitalized. Most kids won’t get severely ill from Covid, but what’s concerning is that they can spread it to people who are more susceptible. Our hospitals are overflowing and by having kids in school we’re allowing the virus to spread at exponential rates.

13. i checked the AAP page– they differentiate 1 in 4 covid cases or 25% with 1.9% being hospitalized for covid. i wish they would portray this more accurately instead of having a child in ICU when they post the 1 in 4 statistic.

24. I did a covid test before in Tuesday and it came negative, but 2 days later i started coughing and later I got a fever. We did it at home and it came out positive. We are waiting for a second test we did in public and we are waiting on results. I still have covid symptoms and I’m sure i have it.

    Edit 1: I got my first doze of pfizer vaccine before 4 days, before covid symptoms started to occur. Also in our school when we switch classes, the hallways, mostly the stairwells are filled with people that talk and spread germs even when they are with a mask. Everyone is squished next to another.
    Edit 2: The second test is also positive.

The funniest thing is that the schools are saying NO FOOD BEING GIVEN OUT, LEAVE SCHOOL FOR LUNCH , etc yet the funny thing is that they don't even fallow their own rules there is a BOWL OF APPLES that everyone touches and should be a covid magnet and you don't even have to leave the school during lunch I like that my school is literally starting to not care by the way the apples wernt there before LOL
