  1. Sydney, you are one brave girl! I was expecting you to collapse after that jump! You are both strong in body, & spirit. I hope they catch those scumbags. Stay well, it made me cry, thinking of what you endured 🥲

  2. You are all amazing, you survived because of your son and because of law enforcement and the SWAT team and the negotiator as well. Sometimes I think we take them for granted and forget these are regular people who have families of their own that are out there putting their butt on the line to save our lives and working miracles for us

  3. Cant feel too bad for the people in the fire. They knew a big roaring fire was coming their way and their plan of action….lets get some sleep lol. should have been evacuating

  4. The couple making light of their refrigerator melting is so endearing.
It's awesome that Matt understood the severity of the situation and knew to call for help even though he wasn't taught to.
Sydney shouldn't have had to experience any of that, but her bravery is breathtaking.

  5. I can’t understand how someone has no conscience, feelings, who doesn’t have any concerns of what there doing to these people. Pure Evil!

  6. People in California, if you live where you have to develop escape plans for fire, have a go bag ready in your vehicle. Remove your vehicle out of your garage if you don't have a backup generator.

  7. 7:33 Spending hours monitoring a fire on the horizon, watching the news, etc. getting close to home and you lose track of your cell phone? Seems strange.

  8. It’s crazy the couple that had the fire happen to there house lives in Escondido I’m literally like 45 minutes away from that town and I live in Murrieta and see some of that type of fire around the mountains were I live it mostly happens every summer

  9. I mean, if I had to pick between burning/suffocating in a fire or freezing in one, I’d choose freezing

  10. So, it felt a bit ridiculous to have a woman talking about how she was r-ped, shot at, and was fighting for her life, and then another woman talking about how she was shot and held captive by a deranged ex in front of her son……..But then juxtapose it with some rich old white guy complaining about losing his expensive wine…..

  11. “I’d give up anything to keep my wife” 😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺 and it actually worked out that way, in a way.

  12. It's awful that the girls attackers haven't been found. I hope they get what's coming to them. What a strong and brave young woman! I wish her peace, love, and prosperity!!!🙏❤

  13. Bless little Matt. So sorry that he’s traumatized now. So sorry to Sydney. You’re so beautiful and strong and you still look 15.

  14. I’m at Sydney’s story. How did he know to go into the dads office and get the tape. You’d think he’d look for something in her room. Makes you think these criminals also knew her parents wouldn’t be home.

  15. Oh my gosh! They never caught the 2 men who terrorized Sydney? They had duck tape (finger prints??), plus she saw them – what's up with that? I don't buy into "because she's black…nobody cares" but if anyone deserves having their attackers caught, it's this beautiful, smart young lady!!!

  16. Those guys must have been there for Sydney, how did they know to look for her and why did they try so hard to keep her? They must’ve known she was home alone.
