  1. My mom has become this way in her 70s while my dad just lays there disabled from injuries and me a disabled veteran trying to clean and discard things while talking to her and making deals and waiting for her to go out of town then deal with the yelling, she is an alcoholic and driving me nuts. It's not healthy

  2. I am glad my mother was not a Hoarders. She always giving things away. She know you they appreciate. I try be the same way. Food, clothes, Since I started watching I go around my apt and clean up.

  3. Julie is in really big trouble with that "spreading" electrical short. It probably means the varmints are chewing up the house wiring. It's a fire hazard and the only way to deal with that is going to involve rewiring the house, after exterminating the critters.

  4. Wow….trash, trash, trash and she could have it ALL (if this was my spouse)..Crazy town could have every single piece of trash she hoarded!! My kids and I would be gone and I would NEVER LOOK BACK!!! Just saying !

  5. I couldn't do it. Take time off out of my life to help a friend/family sweating and working hard only to be yelled at and abused. The ungratefulness will be too much. People need to face some of the consequences of their hoarding.

  6. Hear me out, Some people on this show do have good reasoning behind there addiction, Childhood trauma a loved one passing

But collecting just to collect or using for art, ECT., That's when the show makes me hold back burning vomit

  7. I'll never understand this compulsion to horde. If I don't wear a shirt for a month or so I'm ready to get rid of it. And any kind of clutter drives me nuts. I feel sorry for these people when they get that wild and hunted look in their eyes.

  8. My sis and I are helping our aging folks clean out some things for a nicer basement. They are by no means hoarders, but there were some things down there they didn't even remember they had. For example, Mom just bought a new hand mixer, but there's been an unopened one sitting down there for years! Mom was awfully glad we tossed a lot of the stuff and tidied up (Dad hasn't looked yet). At least they are grateful for our help and willing to let things go. I feel sad and frustrated for the families of these hoarders who want to help, but are stymied by the parents or friend who can't let go.

  9. Dr Z is such a sweetheart with the patience of a saint. I would love to have her as my therapist. ❤️

  10. The hard nosed health inspector, while suffering with advanced prostate cancer, offered assistance to Alan in the clean up and helped him regain custody of his son Frankie. The inspector, Paul Krizman, died shortly thereafter in 2015.

  11. I’m not criticizing anyones parenting but Al is no way fit to be a parent some people are meant to be some are not..and Al is just one of these people unfortunately 💔, my prayers to this family.

  12. I think Al is seriously ill He seems to be disconnected No way can he take care of a child He needs long term help Not just cleaning up his place He does not bath Does not take of take care of his teeth Does not take care of himself How would he take care of a small child ?

  13. I mean Al found a whole gun in the trash. 🤷🏾‍♀️

  14. 19:00 (pause and turn on close captions to see or if you want to have a freely moving video click 18:55) the three second rule is BS, let the man take his time. Yes it will be slow but who cares, let it be slow

  15. I don't understand why hoarder doesn't go somewhere else for a few days. Nice Vacation Hotel Room for 3 Days. With swimming pool.
Then come home to a clean house.
Then the hoarder is out of the way

  16. Al may have issues and wasn’t meant to be a parent, but as a human being.. idk I just like the guy. *Pauses*… “I can eat that” 😂😂

  17. The man who let his kid live amongst that horror for 3 years should never get his kid back. The little guy deserved better and I hope he's in a happy, safe place. He deserves better.

  18. this is a way old episode unless they went back to al…gonna tune in and see but pretty sure this has been done and been failed.
Update:Watched some…ya this is super old how can it be a premiere on the Ae channel..wtf.

  19. I may be one of the only people to think AL would or can be a amazing father I see smthg in him he just needs help. If he can love that child like he loved his wife which I'm sure he does life can be amazing . GOD PLEASE WATCH OVER Al and help him to be the father he can be ❤️

  20. Al doesn't seem want to get his child back. The code unforced. Was just being honest and doing his job. He had a lot of mental n health issued
He doesn't seem care of his son
Let him stay he allot better than where he is
