I bought what has to be the cheapest V12 Ferrari in recent history and it came with a handful of different issues. Today we price everything out on the 612 Scaglietti and see how much it will cost to repair, and also change the 8 year old motor oil!

  1. Send the old engine oil for analysis. They say the big truckers and taxi cabs use it to determine the wear of the engine. Maybe compare this oil to the new oil at the next oil change.

  2. After you get the car sorted, you should use it as your daily driver!!! At least for a year. In that time frame, I bet the value goes up due to the current car market! I bet you could get at least $80k for it in 12 months.

  3. Ya they don't get drove much by many owners because most owners aren't really car people and are just rich people buying another status toy and probably can't really handle the power of the cars and have no time or no care to actually go somewhere and drive them for what there meant to be also have always wondered how they do sit so long my car breaks after it sits for just a month at a time maybe that why they drive slow in fear the car will break at high speed from sitting so long lol ……but if I owned the thing probably be worthless after 6 months

  4. Anyone else concerned after watching Sam point to the power steering fluid reservoir and saying it is the coolant reservoir? Just me?

  5. Rims look good, that engine was just broken in ,only 8300 miles on each cylinder. I think your doing a smart job by repairing what you can with your skill set.
When your done with everything we would love to see what kind of performance that Ferrari can do! Good videos! Keep up the great work, ride on !

  6. Given the fact that you can afford these cars, and have the space to maybe build a shop on your land where to work on cars and store them, i say, keep it build the shop and continue making the grea content that you are doing. Love it!

  7. keep it you will be sorry later you never know what will happen if we go all electric that car could become worth a fortune

  8. Your average Joe would only be impressed when he saw the name on the back. A rich person with taste would never consider that without it being new. Even your date might look over and see that it has over 100,000 miles and realize you got it super cheap. A 612 Scaglietti in good shape and less than 20,000 miles can still fetch huge $$$. Even if you get all the bugs out of that one, who would want it?
