The Samsung Gear 360 is coming to North America … eventually! It’ll cost $349 and is being made available first at VidCon 2016. Here we have a couple minutes of sample video from the Gear 360. It’s good. Not great â€â€Â stitching issues, mostly â€â€Â but not bad at all for the price. The other issue is that it’s a little awkward to lug around, as it doesn’t easily fit in a pocket.

1:44 but why is samsung gear is bolss
horrible image quality , no way to figure license plates, its a no buy for me.
I don’t see a problem, I love the footage you captured and honestly I got the 2016 gear 360 because of this post!! Thanks
How do you get you video to look like it's been filmed with at normal camera? My videos either looks fisheyed or stretched.
Nice ….
Questions please, I want to shot selfie panoramic photos like the gopro one, can I do this ? and how to do that with a selfie stick ? is there any bluetooth button to capture the photo ….?
It's YouTube that's the problem. You can scale down to 720p and the footage is smooth, so I can guess the source video is smooth, but on YouTube, the highest resolution is jerky. Good thing is Premiere Pro is debuting options to use 360 footage easily in a video editor, so for capturing vlogs, I think the image quality you can pull will be very good. Just don't bother uploading 360 videos to YouTube at this point. They are not processing the high res 360 videos from Samsung Gear 360 correctly.
Hi, I just got the Gear 360 and my videos don't give that 360 degree experience without using my finger to see the surroundings on the video. What settings do you have to be able to just move the phone to see the surroundings without using fingers? Could you help me please. Thanks
This video is laggy on YouTube for some reason, but is smooth embedded on the android central site: http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-gear-360-review
It's a bit pricey for a dash-cam, especially when you take into account the price of the phone too if it's going to be a dedicated device ;^/

Here is a developer who is working on enabling the Gear 360 to be controlled by many different android phones and in 4k resolution.
The video quality is horrible. You have to crank it up to 720 to have a somehow decent picture quality. It needs a lot of improvements…
I must say the quality is horrible. No way I can justify paying $350 for this, it's better than the LG one, but still, not impressed.
Enjoying my Gear360.. it's cool
Instead of outside the police cars, how about inside the police cars. Lets see what they are doing all the time. In fact do this for all public servants and officials.
what kind of car do you have
I'm looking for a waterproof/resistant 360 cam for kayaking and fishing. I guess this isn't the best option. Is there one out there yet?
It's will be nice for road vlogers
Why was the lag between audio and video … that was weird and bad
Didn't know Youtube had a 1440 60fps option
