Dude The ocean has become a dead trap
This happened to me when I was 15. Luckily my parents informed me of what to do in case this ever happened. I wasn’t even waist high in the water and it was just too powerful. Took me out about 50 yards before I got out of it. I was with my aunt and uncle and they wouldn’t let me back in the ocean the rest of the trip. Anyhow, everyone should drill it in their kids heads just like a fire drill or tornado.
Don't panic just stay calm and stay afloat don't waste your energy fighting the current use it to your advantage to maneuver out of the current

If a teenage surfer hadn't seen me struggling and saved me I definitely would have drowned.
