If short of calling the cops at least went with one of her brothers or another friend to be a witness or backup should something get out of control. Just going it alone regardless of what the text asked is dangerous and too risky. At the very least tell one person where and when you are. Just lie and say you didn't tell anybody but do it anyways to cover your ass just in case. Plus it's a red flag when somebody says don't tell anyone. Maybe don't tell my family or dad but not anyone. That is highly suspicious. So what if someone else knows that shouldn't matter. Alarm bells going off.
