  1. I’m calling my shop steward I was taking my 6 th coffee break when my unit blew up I better get paid

  2. I’m filling a grevince I was on my union lunch break for 4 hours and you blame me?? My shopstward will be in touch!!

  3. Jesus I used to live a couple miles away from there, I moved a couple of months before that, Jesus I can't imagine how scared me and my family would have been if we were still there…

  4. The oil companies have shut down all of the smaller refineries so when crap like this happens they can screw the consumer with ridiculous prices at the pump

  5. at 0:31 "…as far away as New Jersey", which is across the Delaware River from Philadephia. This is like saying someone farted so loud they heard it in New Jersey.

  6. Philadelphia Energy Solutions or PES was also bankrupt and couldn't pay the workers retirement. This week workers were also protesting the front gates calling it cancer alley.

Remember the protest with native Americans over the pipeline? Well in April that pipeline exploded and guess who was apart of that PES the clean up hurt them financially, filing bankruptcy.

But wait, the EPA said the clean up would cost 335 million but they would so kindly cut that bill in half and give them bio credit if they made some let's say more eco friendly moves.

Still the are drowning in debt to much info leaked they had to clean the mess. Sunco comes to help out.

It should also be noted the refinery is already the biggest pollutant in the region making up for 16% of the carbon foot print and that doesnt count for what they export.

So basically big explosion happens at 4am no ones is in radius to be severely injured from the blast, a death would bring more coverage. Now they claim insurance and have no liability because the chemicals killing people wont come to surface till way down the road the short term impact is controlled.

This is so amazingly orchestrated if this is the case. They had to make sure there is little media coverage. This was the biggest explosion to rock the east coast and in philly….ummmm not easy.

First makes sure there is no major injuries that means lawsuits, deaths means bigger media coverage. Make sure no one can test from inside, no leaked info. Not even Phillies fire department is in there, they have their own fired department. Philadelphia Firefighters are required to stay outside the gate unless called upon.

Air samples were only ran twice from one source and we dont know where the readings were taking from. This allows them to say quote "no IMMEDIATE danger"

News outlets havent said much on the topic they played the explosion video a few times the 1st day and said the air is fine and the fire was contained but still burning.

Imagine an explosion at plant that processes fatal chemicals exploded in a major city rippling shock waves to neighboring states, even seen from space and yet the media isnt fear mongering the shit out of it for views?

    That's my take anyway.

  7. Well if there was an explosion than it’s not energy solutions 🤦🏾‍♀️
