Fertility clinic error led to baby being born in wrong family: Couple

How sad that giving birth to a healthy baby ends up being called a "legal issue," and a traumatizing event, and is treated like a thing that supposedly intelligent adults just can't figure out who owns it. We pay high prices to give us what we want and expect it to turn out perfect. But this is about a human being, a baby!

14. This is tragic and a no win situation. I believe the couple who ended up with no baby at all are the most damaged parties out of the 3 couples. If I was in the same situation, I would be ecstatic., if I had thought my fertility treatments had not worked, but a healthy baby was handed over to me in the end. Is it optimal? No. But way better than what the couple who birthed the boys ended up with. I agree with the person who posted that these boys lost the only parents they ever knew. The birth parents were most likely very loving and heart broken to relinquish the boys. Very traumatic and probably will impact the boys in unknown ways their entire lives. Really sad for ALL involved.

18. This was inevitable. Fertility methods allow for it. It will happen. There's even a good chance that it was done on purpose as an experiment. It's the kind of thing some of the more ethically challenged doctors and scientists do on the regular. History is full of examples. MKultra. Dr Mengele. People are just lab rats to many professionals.

19. Poor kid. Now he has to grow up in anglo household and go to a bad public school. He will never learn to play piano or play chess.
