is it xl or 1?
give them a pay hike
Found my next phone.
Not bad! This will work for my 2 sons football.
Hi do you unedited, raw file of this video?
damn! near gimbal like..that's awesome.
and this is done by software? that's impressive, also the audio quality is very good actually.
All you needed was a rocket launcher! It's a little too smooth when turning, I guess that means they'll give us more memory next time!
did you use a separate mic to record or it was the one on the phone?
Is that sensor stabalisation or digital stabalisation it has both – is both on.
do google pixel and pixel XL both have same stabilization?
Kind of jerky pans and tilts. Not smooth.
Hey guys, I just got a google pixel ( regular, not XL) and uploaded videos on my channel but they are only 1080p. The settings are set to 4k…Any ideas why this might be happening?
Whoever in Google made the video stabilization feature this good on both the Google Pixel and Pixel XL's camera should get a raise.
I think we're discovering that Electronic Image Stablisation really is the way to go for smartphones given the limited space within them. Just look take a look at the Xperia XZ.
it's seriously good
Very bad when you pan, but still a great stabilization. Almost like with a 3-axis gimbal.
Great if you never pan left or right – that "robotic" feel when it is between stabilization locks is quite annoying.
AMAZING
Max Payne live
Honestly this video is the smoothest I've ever seen on a Android hands down
Looks good, but am I the only one that feels like I'm getting dizzy/nauseous while viewing it?
What I can tell from your video is that the EIS of this phone is phenomenal. I have used the iPhones, Sony Z5, X and they all have excellent image stabilization but the system on this Google phone is a clear step above. However, the shimmering or pulsating of the subjects with finer details in the image plus the abrupt and fickle changes in the exposure seem to ruin the otherwise great footage. Not sure if Google could correct these problems.
Definitely looks like an FPS.
Is the guy at the end some kind of ghost or just a walking after image
not lifelike and too sterile
Would have been nice to see part of the vid with stabilisation turned off ( if possible).
that looks crazy good to me.
am I the only one who thinks that video is more on the robotic movement side as if the area that it's capturing seems more like a clip from the game not seems original to me though I know it is
That is seriously amazing. Gives off the effect of an FPS.
Does anyone else think that the stabilization is actually too powerful?
Woah. It looks so amazing
When it slips out your hand and cracks, which it will, and the battery is shit after a year which it will be, don't blame me. $900 of trash.
Looks and feels a bit like hyperlapse motion when panning.
Pretty good for electronic stabilization.
Not bad at all! And the audio (often overlooked) sounded very good too!
wow
How is the field of view affected by EIS? I would imagine that with EIS turned on it's smaller than with it off.
WTF is happening starting at 1:04 , it looks like he's playing Slenderman
This camera is beast! I love it.
Holy shit :O Google did a pretty solid job, especially with no OIS.
Is it just me, or does it look like a console-based FPS being played in the real world? Stable with headbob, then almost control-stick like tilt/pan, then back to stable. Does anyone else feel that way?
