2. I'm so glad we have universal healthcare in the UK. No bills, just a 2% – 12% tax cut from your wages which works out to be nothing in comparison to your yearly salary. Ye, tax sucks, but I'd rather pay National Insurance than get sick and receive a bill for £30,000. If you don't work and don't pay National Insurance, you're still entitled to universal healthcare here in the United Kingdom as long as you're a citizen.

6. I almost died from a kidney infection. Had a 104 degree fever and was hallucinating…still didn't take an ambulance to the hospital XD

8. Once he heard insurance he didn’t wanna go. I feel bad for him. I know what it’s like to have it. It sucks. By the grace of God we have it now.

11. in australia, you pay a bill once a year incase you need an ambulance, in that year you don't pay extra to ride in the ambo. Medicare also covers most costs in the hospital too. America makes me worry

12. I am so glad that in my country (Greece) it's free and we don't have to pay for medication or hospital stay. It made me sad to know that they have to pay for their health etc..

16. My country is poor but you don't need medical insurance for the hospitals. Medical insurance only applied to rich people to go to private hospitals so that they don't need to wait for ques. But even the free specialist hospitals in my country is $5 for registration only & no que time for emergency. So basically ambulance ride & hospital treatments (outpatient/emergency) are all totally free. My country is the 34th country on the world GDP lists.

22. Guys, you gotta get universal healthcare. It may not always be fast (learn from us in Canada, don't let there be too much admin for the amount of nurses and docs), but at least it won't economically kill people, or prevent people from seeking help if they wouldn't be able to afford it without universal healthcare.

    Seriously, you don't mind paying via taxes for the enforcement of laws or preventing houses from burning or resolving car crashes, but you do mind paying to let people get medical help?
